| Integrative
medicine has been a lifetime pursuit for Elizabeth, leading her
to explore and study multiple disciplines and to her philosophy
of looking at the total human experience for maintaining a
healthy lifestyle. During her four-year stay in Tokyo, she
became heavily involved in the local culture studying the
creative arts, including Ikebana, Sumi Painting, formal tea
ceremonies and the fine arts with the University of Maryland,
Far East Division. This Asian experience reinforced her
philosophy that one must look at humans as part of the whole
system. After returning to the USA, she earned her Bachelors
and Masters Degrees from the University of Houston/Clear Lake
with emphasis on the arts and humanities. She then earned a
Doctorate in Nutrition for her studies in nutrition with The
Clayton School of Nutrition |

While pursuing
her academic program she also became certified in Herbology,
Aromatherapy,
Ayurveda, Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, and Reflexology. The therapeutic
aspects of all these mediums have been incorporated to her
lifetime pursuit to seek optimal balance. Her studies remain
ongoing with Yoga
Therapy School
, two mat Pilates courses with ACE,
and multiple Pilates-discipline certifications from the Physical
Mind Institute through John Gossett. She also continues studies
in the Pilates therapy using Wunda chair, spine corrector, and
reformer equipment.
She formerly studied Tai Chi with Dr. Keith Jeffery and now
continues this study under Master Wang.
