Where the Art of Anti-Aging and Natural Health Techniques Meet
About Elizabeth
Integrative medicine has been a lifetime pursuit for Elizabeth, leading her to explore and study multiple disciplines and to her philosophy of looking at the total human experience for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  During her four-year stay in Tokyo, she became heavily involved in the local culture studying the creative arts, including Ikebana, Sumi Painting, formal tea ceremonies and the fine arts with the University of Maryland, Far East Division.  This Asian experience reinforced her philosophy that one must look at humans as part of the whole system.  After returning to the USA, she earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Houston/Clear Lake with emphasis on the arts and humanities. She then earned a Doctorate in Nutrition for her studies in nutrition with The Clayton School of Nutrition

Elizabeth

While pursuing her academic program she also became certified in Herbology, Aromatherapy,  Ayurveda, Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, and Reflexology. The therapeutic aspects of all these mediums have been incorporated to her lifetime pursuit to seek optimal balance. Her studies remain ongoing with Yoga Therapy School , two mat Pilates courses with ACE, and multiple Pilates-discipline certifications from the Physical Mind Institute through John Gossett. She also continues studies in the Pilates therapy using Wunda chair, spine corrector, and reformer equipment.  She formerly studied Tai Chi with Dr. Keith Jeffery and now continues this study under Master Wang.

Elizabeth has been a business owner since 1992, starting with herbal plants and products, emphasizing the natural health aspects.  The Houston Post, Houston Chronicle, Baytown Sun and Beaumont Express, did features of her work in this field.  During her career she has taught classes in  Aromatherapy, Stress Management while on the Continuing Ed staff at Lee College and taught classes in Yoga and Pilates at the three of the school’s campuses.  Elizabeth  also taught Yoga and Pilates for the Harris County at Crosby for over two years and for almost seven years at the NE Medical Center in Humble (now Memorial Hermann Hospital ). When Elizabeth became part of the staff at NE Medical Center as a certified fitness instructor and  a Personal Trainer, she applied her previous skills in teaching to a modified approach to fitness that emphasized non-injury, healing from the inside, and work of the deeper muscles.
